Our 1st celebration with our sponsored children was held on June 16th. The children and adults came in their Sunday best clothes.
We shared about what TOHH’s responsibilities are for their education and explained our expectations for the parents and children. Gama also shared with them the summer program we will be having for the kids that will last 6 weeks.
The kids were very happy to hear that we will be having activies for them. We had a total of 27 children show up with their mother or father. The meeting ended with rain so we packed in our guesthouse and ate a feast together of traditional Haitian dishes.
