Team Good News comes from Good News Bible Church pastored by Peter Vitello, located in Wilton, NH. Their team was lead by Jared Vitello and assisted by Sarah Vitello. The team raised funds to build 3 Wooden houses with cement floor and tin roofs, including food for a month, mattresses, wooden bed frames and a goat.
Here you can see 2 families previously living in tents. The third house is currently being constructed by a Haitian crew that was hired after Team Good News came back to the states. You can sense the sheer joy beaming in the smiles of these Haitian families as they helped to construct their new homes.
Team Good News also invited the children to come for fun activities in the evenings. Enjoy the pictures as you see them playing games, doing crafts and hearing bible stories. What a beautiful way to share a week in Haiti.
